Conference 2026

An international conference on technology-facilitated abuse — building bridges across sectors, borders, and disciplines.

This is not just another academic event, and it’s not another talking shop. It’s a space where researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, frontline workers, and survivors come together to connect, to listen, and to learn from one another.

Over three days, we will explore how evidence, practice, innovation, and lived experience can be brought into dialogue. Participants are invited to come with open minds: ready to expand horizons, engage with communities they may not usually meet, and be challenged (gently but meaningfully).

This conference is designed for curiosity, tinkering, and honest exchange. No one is expected to know everything — but we also won’t accept the phrase “I’m not tech savvy.” Every one of us engages with technology every day, and every perspective carries value. Gendered assumptions about “tech expertise” have silenced too many voices and far too often allow tech-mediated abuse to occur — here, all knowledge is recognised, all contributions matter, and growing our tech literacy is key.

This is a rare opportunity to build partnerships across sectors and borders, to move beyond theory into practice, and to turn knowledge into action.
